ARC Systems has invested considerable resources in creating, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive business continuity plan to protect our clients' information assets and ensure uninterrupted services and support during business disruptions. Our plan includes:

• Continue mission-critical operations during a crisis incident by preparing and testing our primary and backup data recovery systems
• Respond to incidents quickly by communicating and executing a resolution
• Prevent incidents and any subsequent losses from occurring by continually refining our strategy

Preparing and Testing Primary and Backup Data Recovery Systems

ARC Systems' online services can recover quickly from a disaster affecting the primary site by the use of a backup co-location. Our regularly maintained and tested facilities are located in low-risk areas, use separate power grids, and contain sufficient backup power to sustain operations.

This dual data center strategy uses best practices to effect the recovery of our core infrastructure. To protect the integrity of our systems, our redundant hardware and network architecture limits our vulnerability to environmental or system-wide disturbances. During normal operations, we replicate all activity at our primary site in real time at our co-location site.

In the event of an incident rendering ARC Systems' headquarters inaccessible for critical business operations, we have established a company-owned, fully equipped alternate work environment with dedicated backup equipment to mitigate risk and resume normal operations.

Communicating and Executing a Resolution

ARC Systems implements a predetermined plan to assess risk and respond to each event appropriately. We have an effective communications plan to notify our employees and clients should a significant business interruption occur. Our emergency response team of dedicated professionals assesses conditions and executes the business continuity plan to direct the response to the most critical business functions.

ARC Systems reviews and rehearses recovery strategies on a regular basis to ensure reliability, effectiveness, and employee awareness of procedures and to prevent loss in the event of a disruption. If an actual disruption occurs, our business continuity plan depends upon resources beyond our control, such as regional telecommunications, transportation networks, and other public utilities. By continually refining our strategy and planning systematically for emergencies, we protect essential data and provide consistent services regardless of external conditions.
