Company History

ARC Systems was founded in 1984 by current President and CEO Ed Jones. The company started as a custom software shop, working in the government and health services industries.

In 1994, a client asked ARC Systems to develop an automated decisioning and loan origination system for the Title 1 market.

Following successful completion of this effort another lender challenged ARC Systems to develop a full system for the sub-prime market, saying "it hasn't been done and you can't automate decisioning for sub-prime."

We like challenges and if someone tells us "it can't be done" we always strive to prove "it can be done."

We accomplished our mission in 1997 and quickly became the acknowledged leader in automated underwriting and loan origination software for the subprime market.

As ARC Systems grew, we expanded our product to encompass all non-conforming loans. We also began segmenting products for different customers within the mortgage banking market: loan officers, warehouse underwriters, investment bankers, and providers of home equity loans.

Today, we are a privately held company that provides lending institutions, investment, and commercial banks across the nation with the power to make fast, accurate and consistent decisions.
