Ed Jones, president and chief executive officer of ARC Systems, establishes the strategic vision of the company and initiates business development for solutions in the mortgage industry. His ingenuity has led to the company's reputation of being the world-class leader in automated underwriting.
Since ARC Systems was founded in 1984, Mr. Jones has built a team of technical professionals who have nurtured the evolution and culture of the organization. In 1997, the first iteration of LendTech® was launched. In his executive role, Mr. Jones is committed to fostering successful partnerships with clients. He has hands-on involvement in each facet of the company to help drive its success.
Mr. Jones brings an extensive history of technical expertise to ARC Systems, including automated systems. Prior to heading up ARC Systems full time, Mr. Jones developed custom software programs at UNISYS to automate business processes for major corporations and the State of Texas. As chief engineer of Pedernales Electric Co-op, he established automated online systems for co-op engineering and financial operations. During Mr. Jones' tenure as NASA's chief engineer for advanced technology at the Johnson Space Center, he was involved in high-level project work for the Apollo, Skylab, and Shuttle programs.
A registered professional engineer, Mr. Jones earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1963.
