Our Security
The security of information is among the most important issues facing any business today. ARC Systems is committed to providing a secure, reliable environment for its clients, and to protecting their data and proprietary business information at all times.
Security of Online Transactions
ARC Systems has adopted stringent online security measures. All activity is continuously monitored. Multiple firewall devices protect databases and web servers, blocking any unauthorized access to your data. When transmitting sensitive information, our encryption makes it unreadable to unauthorized users.
Security of Data Behind the Scenes
ARC Systems uses multiple production servers and keeps multiple copies of all data. We've installed redundant network connections and use several concurrent internet service providers. Our redundant hardware and network design limits our vulnerability to environmental or system-wide disturbances, enabling us to continue operations in times of crisis. Our web servers and databases are hosted at a secure facility. We provide constant monitoring and attention to environmental control.
Prepared for the Unexpected
Our comprehensive Business Continuity Plan ensures that our employees are prepared to respond in times of crisis. Should a crisis occur, we have alternate "warm" co-location facilities to which we can transfer operations within minutes. By planning systematically for emergency situations, we've ensured ARC Systems is not only a smart choice for a business partner, but also a safe choice.
Certified Beyond the Requirements
ARC Systems has earned the financial industry's Statement of Auditing and Standards No. 70 Type 2 certification. And, beyond the banking requirements of the SAS 70, ARC Systems has maintained certifications from Cybertrust and Verisign for the past several years. Verisign ensures that our data encryption is reliable. Cybertrust requires successful completion of an extensive systems-auditing process, and regularly tests our network for any possible weaknesses.
